The C24 CDMA 1X module (800/1900 MHz) shares the same form factor as the rest of the Motorola wireless module family, offering easy interchangeability between GSM and CDMA with the G24 and C24 modules, for flexibility with a single design solution. It can also stack with the W24 Wi-Fi module for seamless Wi-Fi to CDMA data routing. The C24 features an internal TCP/IP stack for easy data transfer, FOTA support and SSL for secure connectivity. The C24 also features on-board GPS, including Autonomous GPS, A-GPS, and MS-Based GPS, making it the ideal choice for location-based wireless applications. On-Board Simultaneous Multimode GPS A powerful multimode GPS solution supporting Autonomous GPS, Assisted GPS and MS-Based GPS. The GPS features simultaneous operation in parallel with placing CDMA 1X voice & data calls, making it ideal for any location-based application. Location data is provided either in NMEA or binary format. Plug & Play The C24 is built with the same form factor as the G24 family, enabling easy interchangeability between CDMA and GSM technology. Data Routing The C24 includes built-in connectivity to the W24 Wi-Fi module for seamless Wi-Fi to CDMA data routing. FOTA Firmware upgrade over-the-air (FOTA) allows the module’s firmware to be remotely updated thus eliminating the need for manual field updates. Multiplexing Support The C24 features multiplexing (MUX 27.010) over the UART RS232 connection, for up to 4 simultaneous sessions, enabling more efficient data processing. RUIM Support Support of RUIM (Removable User Identity Module) cards enables compatibility with CDMA carriers worldwide. Internal TCP/IP; UDP An industry-standard, nonproprietary set of communications protocols that provide reliable end-to-end connections between applications over Interconnected networks of different types. SSL A security protocol that provides communication privacy. SSL enables client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery. Voice features Telephony, digital audio, analog audio, vocoders (13K QCELP, EVRC EVRC-B), DTMF support, audio c |
