GPRS2E Getting Started Guide
GPRS2E Manual Footprint compatible GSM modem module for monitoring and controlling remote equipment with upgrade to TCP/IP and Dialup modems. A GSM modem is used to overcome Remote machine problems. The OEM-GPRS2E module does just that! It remains asleep until an awaken source is detected, at which point it can perform an automatic action before returning to a power-down state. Host interface - TTL/RS232 serial port with AT command call control. DTR can be used as a wake up source triggering automatic operations. Low power modes - it will remain in a sleep or standby state until an awake event occurs. Wake events - can be configured to recover from sleep/standby states upon detecting serial data, DTR or Real Time Clock(RTC) timers. Automated operation - when woken, the embedded GSM module will send an SMS, autodial or start timers before optionally powering down.
