Datasheet Product Specification The W24 utilizes the same form factor as other members of the Motorola M2M family, so you can easily integrate with existing designs. The W24 can be stacked with the G24 GSM module for smooth Wi-Fi to cellular data routing. The W24 incorporates proven security protocols along with an additional security block between the host device application and the Internet, so that any device equipped with W24 can securely transfer data to any access point. Features IP connectivity to any host device Ideal for enabling M2M applications to achieve secure, high speed throughput and access to IP networks via 802.11b/g wireless LANs or even via cellular networks. Data routing As a dual modem device, the W24 enables data routing in both GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi. Internal web server A built-in server allows you manage the module via web. Secure connection W24 provides a security block between the host device application and the Internet, acting as an inherent hardware firewall and decoupling the actual application from the Internet. Compact size Shares the same form factor of Motorola's G24 portfolio, for easy and fast integration. Extended RF The RF MMCX connector guarantees exceptional performance allowing connection virtually anywhere and everywhere. FOTA – Firmware Over The Air An Easy Over The Air (OTA maintenance), with a customer MIDlet application upgrade Internal TCP/IP; UDP An industry-standard, nonproprietary set of communications protocols that provide reliable end-to-end connections between applications over Interconnected networks of different types. SMTP/POP3 email Retrieve or send mail from a host mail server also running the protocol. FTP file transfer An application protocol used for transferring files to and from host computers. |
